Galen Gering was born & raised by flower child inside Los Angeles. His father is Russian Jewish and his Basque mother is from Spain.

At a age of Eighteen, Gering moved to New York City to start the modeling career & finished senior high through the mail. He was hired as a model & travelled virtually all of Europe before going to New York University for a year. He finished his college times at a University of Miami where he studied originative writing & film. Inside Will of 1999, Gering graduated using honors when he was already occupy working in "Passions".
